Giro Ski and Snowboard Helmet Technology

Giro Ski and Snowboard Helmets, The Jib Shop offers most models including some with wireless audio. Giro Helmets provide head saving protection with the best technology at a good price performance.

Giro's ski and snowboard helmets incorporate the best technology. The following features are in Giro helmets. See the individual helmet descriptions to see which features are in which helmets.

▪ EPS liners - Giro's 15 years of testing and experience have shown them that EPS liners are the best material for snowsports helmet liners. EPS offers the most consistent performance over a wide range of of conditions. Gram for gram it absorbs more energy than other materials and is incredibly light.
▪ In-mold construction is a unique construction method that fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell directly to the helmet's inner liner. The process reinforces the shell and the liner together so in-mold helmets feature larger vents while using less material. Thus you get a lighter, cooler helmet.
▪ Goggle Notch - every Giro helmet has a deep Goggle Notch™ that works in tandem with a snap-lock security loop to keep goggles locked-in all day long.
▪ Super Cool vents are designed for maximum efficiency while optimizing the position and orientation of each vent. These are vents that work together so they are more effective at moving cool frsh air through the helmet while radiating heat and stale air out.
▪ The Thermostat™ ventilation control allows you to custom tune airflow instantly with a simple low-profile control button on the outside of the helmet.
